“September, let's go...” D'Annunzio comes to mind, who was *form par excellence*, attention to detail, extroversion, and, to top it all off, surprising novelty. He suits this super exhibition very well, which highlights great vitality (and this is biology) absolutely associated with great intelligence (and this is biography). A great sense of pride, for a tradition that renews itself, that wants to remain so and not transform into ossified traditionalism, which is folklore and nothing more (with all due respect to folklore), for which, there, here, there; one must be in the unexpected, panicked place, where everyone else thinks one cannot go, and instead one can, one must, to remain at the top and scan the winds of the “spirit of the times,” always ready for betrayals and new loves...
This is, with a great present, also about honouring a history which sees Lombardy at the centre of a world event, a maximisation, to be increased, to be made ever more attractive, unleashing that desirable effect, which is home, the place of places, which is
etched into our anthropology, for which it must be breathing, pulsating, energetic, but also of a self-taught, which is a medium with a very high probability of success.
Stalls present: 450. Tickets sold: 30 thousand; some of those who see the glass (but what a glass!!!) half empty are already saying, “a rebound”, a simple rebound, while those who see with the optimism of will and intelligence (among whom I find myself well) shout a hurrah, as big as a house. House, in fact, is what this supersalon is about, with a strong charge of novelty, of originality, based on light, which is never the same, even though it is transparency and the horizon of everything. There is also some peculiarity, something that makes you say, “oh dear!” But it is precisely this that drives forward languages, experiments, which always appear "too soon" and need common sense to catch up, not so much to praise or condemn them, but to understand, to welcome, to
to overcome, to modify, but also to exclude. To be kept at a distance, indifference, which will remain outside the exhibition hall, which is increasingly, Milan!
