Frisoni
His works are held in many museums, public and private collections in Italy and abroad, including the Ducati Collection in Tokyo and the Sharon Gallery in San Diego, California, the Pinacoteca of Crotone and the CARIM Foundation.
The Artist
Born in Rimini in 1965, where he still lives and works. He graduated from the Rimini Art School and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
He won the international competition Roma 2000 twice, in the ’98 and ’99 editions, which saw him featured in a series of exhibitions in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Paris, organised by Galleria Il Collezionista of Rome.
From the summer of 1999, the street became the privileged space for his research, with its cars, headlights, traffic lights, thunderstorms, streetlights… These works were presented in 1999 in a solo exhibition at the Galleria La Nave Và in Rimini, which led to him being a finalist in the Morlotti Prize in Imbersago, in the group exhibition Promesse at the Galleria Forni in Bologna, at the Treccani Prize, and again at the Morlotti Prize in Imbersago in 2001.
